This August 4th at Inglewood Sunfest Festival on 9th Avenue, IllFX Dance Crew in cooperation with Espy Experience clothing store, will be bringing Canada’s largest flashmob.  Aiming for 10,000 participants, IllFX members have beeen teaching this flashmob all over the city in schools, dance studios, performance groups and fitness gyms.  The project has already been taught to over 4000 people in 10 schools and 4 dance studios so far with many more to go.  We have already had amazing responses back from teachers including Wendy Doerksen from Holy Trinity Academy who said, “Seriously you guys were so great, and you had amazing rapport with the kids.  They had such an amazing experience learning the dance and are all excited to come down on August 4th.” The dance itself was choroegraphed by “So You Think You Can Dance Canada” Top 10 finalist and Calgary native, Edgar Gilbert-Reyes.  The dance has connected people of all ages and backgrounds together with the joy and love of music and dance.
